What Is the Patient Experience? Is Family Accompaniment Necessary?

Patient Experience

The medical experience in the U.S. is excellent. All services require appointments. Although appointments may take time, once confirmed, patients receive high-quality care. Large hospitals in the U.S. have spacious waiting areas and onsite restaurants and cafes, making it convenient for patients to dine. Payments are straightforward, and there is no need to move around for payment processing. Scans like MRIs are conducted meticulously, and consultations typically last close to 40 minutes.

Overall, the medical experience in the U.S. is outstanding. For example, IV treatments are often administered in private rooms, with heated blankets, beverages, and light snacks provided.

As for family accompaniment, it is not necessary functionally. Even for major surgeries, nursing care is well-organized, eliminating the need for family to provide meals or care. Family accompaniment is primarily for emotional support.
