There are different scenarios for seeking medical treatment in the U.S.:
- No U.S. Visa: In this case, there are two options. First, seek remote medical services through the internet to obtain a treatment plan. All medical records can be sent to U.S. doctors, and some hospitals may provide remote treatment plans. Second, apply for a medical visa, which requires contact and appointments with U.S. hospitals. This process may take several months and is not suitable for urgent patients.
- With a U.S. Visa: This is relatively simple. Chinese passport holders with a B1/B2 visa can usually stay for six months, with the possibility of extensions in emergencies.
